The National Performance stage comprises of the following: The aim of this stage is to increase the amount of European competitive 14U players with the potential to transition strongly to the International Junior stage. The National Performance stage of the pathway is for those aged 11-14 who compete regularly at a National level and in Tennis Europe events.
LTA Youth initiaitives are an important route through which aspiring performance players can engage with the Player Pathway at the 10U Regional stage. The goal of LTA Youth is to help children get inovlved with tennis through an exciting programme of resources, lessons and events. PROPLAYER ELITE PROFESSIONAL
We have established partnerships with many of the local professional clubs and their coaches/ scouts regularly attend coaching sessions to monitor the development of our players. These games give the players an opportunity to transfer the technical skills acquired through our technical coaching programme into a game situation. In addition to the coaching programme, players will have a games programme against professional academies, development squads and local junior teams. We believe that through our unique coaching and games programmes, every player will improve, irrespective of whether or not they progress into a professional club.īy attending the academy, players will not only show an improvement in their technical skills and tactical knowledge they will also acquire many of the necessary social skills and psychological attributes that are essential in professional football.
